Found Brindle Coat Boxer!

I found a female brindle coat Boxer this morning on the way to work. She is very sweet, and appears to know how to sit, shake, and lay quietly at your feet while you work. She is getting along well with my dog (in fact, Annie is the one doing the barking and growling, not Camelia (I named her Camelia, because I found her on Camelia)). I just gave her a bath, she was fine in the bathtub and sat patiently while I scrubbed her down, rinsed, and scrubbed again. It appears as though she may have been involved in a fire, her coat is singed and she smelled like burned hair. I'm hoping that the baths remedied that. I thought at first that perhaps she had been used as bait for fighting, because of wounds on her back near her tail, but it may have just been her trying to escape or perhaps burn wounds. She's a real sweet girl, and I'd love for someone to adopt her. She weighs about 42 pounds, and the vet said that judging by the tartar on her teeth, she is not very old. I have no idea what temperament Boxer puppies have, but she is very calm. I would judge her to be beyond puppy stage, but again, I don't know whether Boxer pups are hyper or not. I would absolutely keep her if I could, but I cant. Please let me know if you are interested.

Missing Cat!

Missing Cat near Perks Coffee (Lydia Ave /Perkins)

Name: Chloe (aka C-Lo)

Female
Orange/Black/White Calico Tabby
Bright Green Eyes
Last Seen Friday Night, 5/8/09
Scabby, patchy fur due to allergies.

Please email if you've seen her. She is the sweetest little thing, but she can't keep a collar on and I don't think she has a very good sense of direction.
Thank you!!!

If you find her, email lostandfoundhound@gmail.com and I'll get you in touch with the owner... thanks!

Pup in Peril Spotted on Bluebonnet

At 2:30 p.m. I saw a dog crossing Bluebonnet Blvd. at Oliphant Road.
This is a crossing about halfway between where Bluebonnet intersects
with Jefferson Hwy and I-10. I was heading toward I-10 when a
gray-and-white dog crossed the road in the middle of traffic forcing a
couple of cars to stop it was heading west, crossing from the Cottage
Hill subdivision area over toward the old Bluebonnet Drive area and
the homes in that area. The dog had a red collar on and appeared to
have a tag. It looked kind of like the tramp in the "Lady & The Tramp"
animated Disney file of yore. I was in a rush and thought about
stopping. This is the next best thing I'm doing. I imagine the dog
will be found, but I was worried about it crossing a busy four-lane
road with mid-day traffic. Can't really offer much more in detail. My
cell is 931-6529 if someone wants to talk further, and my personal
e-mail is tallnlanky@gmail.com. Thanks,

Sweet News from Loupe...

Hi Natalie.

My new mom emailed you a while back about me being lost and all. Well...she took me to the vet yesterday and got my shots. I also have a collar now...with my name and new address on it. My new human even helped me set up a facebook page. Next week she is taking me to get spayed and a microchip. I like my new pet brothers. Mo is like three times as big as I am, but he is gentle. Riley wants to be my boyfriend. Thanks for getting the word out that I was lost. But I am glad my old owners did not find me.
The vet told my human that I was probably about 4 years old. She said it looked like I had been kept in a wire kennel because of the marks on my feet. She said I might have just been kept for breeding because I am so small. But I was in luck that I was heartworm negative.
Tonight my human is taking me to a Mexican themed party at Ellen's.
Viva the Margarita.
Loupe.

We want a picture Loupe! Maybe of you in (or inside of) a sombrero at the Mexican fiesta! Congratulations on your new home, my heart is happy!
